Tool & Mold Building

WCPI maintains an in-house tooling department focusing on tool maintenance, repair, design changes, and production support.

The majority of new tool builds and prototypes are built by WCPI suppliers in North America and Asia. Each tool built externally goes through a thorough design review and approval process before any steel is cut. Once the tool is received, an extensive inspection is conducted to verify that it is built to world class standards.

In 2010, WCPI began building production tools from aluminum alloys to meet customer requirements.
