World Class Plastics, Inc. (WCPI) offers custom plastic injection molding services and is one of the leading injection molding solution companies in the United States. Our extensive range of product capabilities includes high-precision, multi-component, class-A surfaces, both small and large component parts. As a one-stop shop, we also provide numerous additional services, including engineering, product development, material selection, prototyping, mold making, tooling, warehousing, logistical support, and maintenance.
WPCI delivers specialized injection molding services, including tight tolerance molding and expert color matching. Our state-of-the-art equipment not only ensures your visual and dimensional tolerances are met, but also allows us to create a product that adheres to critical details and intricate shapes.
As plastic injection molding technology and innovation continue to advance, part tolerances are becoming increasingly tighter. Typically, a tight tolerance is defined as +/-.002 inches, and a very tight tolerance is +/-.001 inches. Many factors influence tight tolerances, including part size and complexity, raw material selection, as well as tooling and process conditions. Due to this fact, choosing the right design is crucial for products that require tight tolerances. At WCPI, our knowledgeable team will ensure your component features the design and materials required to meet your application demands.
WCPI runs a large catalog of custom colors to meet various required L,a,b specifications. Selecting the right color is a crucial aspect of the injection molding process. Several factors go into color selection, such as whether the component needs to be a certain color for safety reasons as well as branding and aesthetic considerations. The right color is critical to either differentiate your product from your competitor, or to match to a product or model color code
At WCPI, our injection molding expertise enables us to use filled materials, such as talc, mica, calcium carbonate, glass bead and glass fiber, to name a few. We are capable of molding parts with clamping forces ranging from 50 to 750 metric tons, using materials that include:
- Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
- Copolymer Polypropylene
- Glass Filled Plastic
- High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
- Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
- Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG)
- Nylon, Filled and Unfilled
- Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
- Polyethylene (PE)
- Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) (Ryton®)
- Polypropylene (PP)
- Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
- Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE)
